    The beginning was in Paris

    In the 17th century in Paris, the concept of taxi as a means of public transportation was invented. However, it took the form of horse-drawn carriages known as “fiacres” which were used for city transportation. From there, the name “taxi” was given to the cars that offer transportation services, signifying the fares collected when using these cars as a means of transport. We adopted this name to reflect the service provided and is considered an “authentic and not derived” name that is easy to grasp and universally recognized worldwide.
