Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a skilled accounting specialist to join our team on a part-time, long-term contract basis in the Kissimmee, Florida area. This part-time position requires expertise in managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger coding, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and tracking payments.
• Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Accurately code invoices and ensure proper allocation to general ledger accounts.
• Assist with the preparation of billing functions and maintain organized financial records.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall financial operations.
• Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Address inquiries related to accounting procedures and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger coding and invoice management.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.
• Familiarity with billing functions and financial record-keeping.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
