Assistant Property Manager – Houston, TX 77014

Full-Time | Multifamily Housing

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Assistant Property Manager for a community located in the Houston, TX 77014 area.

Position Overview

The Assistant Property Manager will support daily operations, resident relations, leasing functions, rent collection, reporting, and maintaining high standards for customer service and community satisfaction. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced multifamily environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily property operations and administrative tasks
• Support leasing efforts, renewals, and resident retention programs
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects
• Process applications, lease files, notices, and resident correspondence
• Assist with rent collection, deposits, delinquency follow-up, and reporting
• Help maintain accurate property records and meet all deadlines
• Work closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth community operations

Qualifications

• Prior multifamily Assistant Manager experience strongly preferred
• Bilingual – English & Spanish
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, dependable, and highly organized
• Must be able to manage deadlines and multitask effectively
• Knowledge of leasing, fair housing, and property management practices preferred
