The  Patient Care Coordinator (Primary Care/Walk-In Clinic) functions as an integral member of the team to deliver exceptional customer service to our patients. The Patient Services Representative works alongside the clinical staff to ensure efficient patient service within the department.

Schedule (30 hours): Saturday & Sunday, 7:30am-5:15pm PST. A third shift will be required from 6:30am-5:30pm - day of the week for this shift can be flexible. Schedule will be determined upon hire and is subject to change. 

Location: 3130 Ellis St. Bellingham, WA

Primary Responsibilities:

• First point of contact for our patients. Sets the tone for a positive experience

• Exhibits empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency, and care

• Schedules appointments and procedures, following standard guidelines

• Uses Multiple computer and phone systems to fulfill patient needs over phone

• Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

• Advises patients of their responsibilities regarding insurance and referral information

• Outbound calls for health maintenance

• Cleaning, stocking, and supplying recovering patient rooms

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)

• 1+ years of customer service or patient service experience

• 1+ years of experience with basic computer software including Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology

• EPIC experience

 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
