Job Title: Bilingual Medical Assistant (Korean Required)

Location: Flushing, NY 11355

Contract Duration: 26 Weeks

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Includes 60-minute break)

Pay Rate: Up to $23/hour
Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant (Korean-speaking) to support both clinical and administrative operations in a busy outpatient healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist providers with patient care, perform essential clinical tasks, and communicate effectively with Korean-speaking patients to ensure a positive and high-quality patient experience.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, including vital signs, height, and weight measurements
• Assist providers during examinations and outpatient procedures
• Prepare and process specimens in accordance with established protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena)
• Support front-office and back-office operations as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Korean-speaking patients to ensure understanding and comfort
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in Korean (required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Active BLS certification
• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA)
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Experience in outpatient, family practice, or primary care settings
• Experience with specimen processing and vital sign intake
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic and/or Athena
