Bookkeeper With Expertise In Xero And QuickBooks

We are looking for a bookkeeper with expertise in Xero and QuickBooks and will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing detailed financial reports. Proficiency in both Xero and QuickBooks is essential to efficiently handle financial operations across different platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting and Bookkeeping:

• Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, payments, and receipts.
• Ensure compliance with standard accounting practices.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Manage invoices, process payments, and track accounts receivable and payable.
• Follow up with clients on outstanding invoices and payments.

Reconciliation:

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial statements with records in Xero and QuickBooks.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in account balances.

Financial Reporting:

• Generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Provide customized reports as requested by management or stakeholders.

Tax Preparation and Compliance:

• Prepare and organize financial data for tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

Software Management:

• Manage data imports, exports, and integrations between Xero, QuickBooks, and other financial tools.
• Keep software up-to-date and troubleshoot any issues.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts based on historical data and current trends.
• Provide insights into cost-saving opportunities and financial improvements.
