Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Driver to join our team in the Construction industry. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery. You will play a critical role in the success of our projects by maintaining a high level of professionalism and safety on the road. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the construction industry
Familiarity with GPS and other navigation tools
Ability to operate heavy equipment
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Communicate effectively with team members and project managers
Skills:
As a CDL Driver, you will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members and project managers. Your attention to detail will ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with traffic laws and regulations. Your ability to operate heavy equipment and navigate using GPS will be essential to the success of our projects. Additionally, your physical strength and stamina will be utilized to lift heavy materials and equipment on a daily basis.
