My client is a 100% employee-owned architecture, engineering, planning, and construction management firm with a long history of delivering high-quality work across Hawai‘i. They partner with public agencies, private developers, and resort communities, and are known statewide for reliable project delivery, strong technical standards, and a collaborative team culture.

  • Prepare feasibility studies, conceptual layouts, and detailed construction plans.

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and equipment/material needs.

  • Identify and resolve design challenges, risks, and technical issues.

  • Work closely with agencies, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

  • Mentor junior staff and maintain quality-control standards.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).

  • PE in Hawai‘i or ability to obtain.

  • 7+ years of civil engineering experience , including land development and subdivisions.

  • Hands-on experience with grading, utilities, drainage, and site development.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools.

  • Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Solid understanding of regulatory approvals, permitting, and land development processes.

Location

Oahu, HI

Salary

$100,000 – $140,000 , depending on experience.

Why This Role Is a Strong Opportunity
  • 100% employee-owned—real long-term upside.

  • Strong pipeline of land development, resort, and heavy civil site projects.

  • Supportive culture with mentorship and team-oriented leadership.

  • Meaningful work shaping Hawai‘i’s built environment.
