Hourly Pay Range:
$58.00 - $89.90 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights: - Position: Clinical Pharmacist
- Location: Evanston Hospital
- Full Time - 32 hours/week
- Hours: Rotating Shifts, Weekends, and holidays
- Required Travel: No
What you will need: - License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist
- Education: BLS or PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred
- Certification: N/A
- Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice
- Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment
What you will do: - Dispense medication in response to a physician's order
- Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing
- Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
