Job Description

Our client, the healthcare industry, is seeking a Host/Hostess to join their team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be part of the Food and Nutritional Services department supporting hospital staff and patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Host/Hostess

Location: Savannah, GA

Pay Range: $17

Shift: Full Week (Sunday through Saturday)

What's the Job?

• Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and guests to ensure accurate and timely delivery of patient meal trays and floor stock.
• Deliver meal carts to patient units and assist with bedside meal set-up.
• Discard soiled trays and take inventory of nourishment areas.
• Stock nourishment areas and operate technical equipment accurately.
• Maintain sanitation activities, including cleaning dishware, equipment, and janitorial tasks, and perform cashiering duties in the cafeteria.

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Adherence to sanitation and safety standards.
