Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health on a PRN basis in Augusta, GA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients experiencing behavioral and mental health crises in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and care for behavioral health patients in the Emergency Department
• Implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and mental health professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Behavioral Health preferred)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS/PALS preferred)
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
