The Nurse Lawyer is a team led by the only board-certified civil trial lawyer and registered nurse in the state of Florida. If you are the experienced scheduling assistant we are looking for, you’ll be self-motivated, positive, enthusiastic, a team player, hardworking, detailed-oriented, and efficient. You will have 2+ years of experience as a scheduling assistant. You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate and up to date calendar for 5+ attorneys. Some job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Communicating and coordinating with courts, opposing counsel, co-counsel, clients, expert witnesses, and medical providers
• Scheduling hearings, inspections, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, client meetings, and phone conferences
• Securing court reporters, videographers and interpreters when needed
• Calendaring attorneys' personal appointments and time off
• Drafting, filing, and saving notices for proceedings
• Drafting and following up on subpoenas for depositions
• Responding to high volume of emails promptly

**Experience with the court system, including but not limited to, electronic filing (e-filing), electronic e-service, and Microsoft Office is required**
