Job Summary UK HealthCare seeks compassionate, detail‑oriented individuals to join our growing retail pharmacy team servicing patients, students, faculty, staff, and community members. The selected candidate will perform basic pharmacy technician duties of filling, billing, and dispensing, including processing prescription refills, renewals, and new prescriptions at patient‑facing or patient support phone stations per KY Board of Pharmacy law. Advanced functions may require CPhT certification. The Technician will demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities The technician must register with the KY Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire or on first day if registration has lapsed. UK HealthCare offers candidates without National Pharmacy Technician certification a pathway to 500 hours of on‑job experience for certification. A career ladder is available for those who obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or NHA (ExCPT). The Technician must also meet the minimum requirements of the position. Pay rates vary based on experience.
