Green Arrow is seeking a Safety Coordinator to collaborate with our electrical construction crews to maintain a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment. This role plays a key part in reducing incidents, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a strong culture of safety across our projects nationwide.

What You’ll Do

As our Safety Coordinator, you will serve as a key partner in ensuring our teams perform safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry and company standards. You will work closely with field crews and project leaders to identify hazards, implement safety strategies, and use data-driven insights to strengthen our safety culture. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that influences safety performance across multiple locations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Work directly with electrical construction crews to provide on-site safety guidance and support.
  2. Conduct regular job site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E standards.
  3. Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  4. Lead and document safety inspections, incident reports, near misses, and corrective actions.
  5. Analyze safety data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  6. Deliver safety training on topics such as electrical safety, LOTO, PPE, hazard recognition, and incident reporting.
  7. Conduct root cause analyses for all incidents and provide actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  8. Assist in developing and maintaining emergency response plans and ensure proper equipment readiness.

You lead by example, communicate effectively with field teams, and use data to drive smarter, safer decisions. Your approach blends technical expertise with a collaborative mindset that fosters continuous improvement.

Requirements include:

  1. Proven experience in electrical construction safety, ideally with field-based oversight experience.
  2. OSHA 30-hour Construction Certification and familiarity with NEC and NFPA 70E.
  3. Additional electrical safety certifications (e.g., Arc Flash Training) preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
  5. Ability to analyze data and use insights to enhance safety performance.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff.
  7. Strong problem-solving and report-writing abilities.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
