Position Summary:

We are seeking Commercial Solar Installers and Electricians to take on a large commercial project. Experience with commercial-scale solar installations , particularly solar carports, ground mounts, and rooftop PV systems is a plus. This position involves installing and wiring high-voltage electrical components, managing conduit and racking installations, and ensuring all systems are built to code, safely, and efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and wire commercial solar PV systems , including solar carports , rooftops, and ground-mounted arrays.
• Interpret construction drawings, electrical schematics, and one-line diagrams to execute precise installations.
• Perform AC/DC electrical work, conduit runs (EMT, PVC, and rigid), grounding, inverter setup, and service interconnections.
• Assemble, align, and secure solar carport structures, racking systems, and PV modules to engineering specifications.
• Lead or assist in setting steel columns, trenching, pulling wire, and completing electrical terminations for large-scale systems.
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and code compliance.
• Coordinate with site foremen, electricians, and project managers to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, including material usage, test results, and as-built notes.
• Follow and enforce OSHA and company safety standards on all job sites.
• Assist with quality control checks, inspections, and final system sign-offs.

 

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years in solar installation or electrical construction; solar carport installation experience is a plus but not required.
