Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is seeking a contract, part-time Tax Accountant with CPA licensure for 10-20 hours per week.

• Prepare and Provide support with complex business tax returns, including 1120S (S-Corp), 1065 (Partnerships), and 990 (Nonprofits).
• Assist clients with initial detail review of individual, trust, partnership, and multistate tax returns.
• Proactively manage and organize the clients' relevant financial information, ensuring completion & accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with clients via email, phone, Zoom, or Teams, ensuring clarity and professionalism.

• 4+ years of experience preparing 1120S, 1065 and 990's tax returns.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA licensure.
• Proficiency with UltraTax software.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online
