Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Payable Associate to join their team. As a Temporary Accounts Payable Associate, you will be an essential part of the finance department supporting accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accuracy, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Temporary Accounts Payable Associate

Location: Marquette, MI

Pay Range: $20.00 to $24.00

Shift: Full-time, Monday through Friday, day shift with a 30-minute lunch

What's the Job?

• Receive, verify, and process invoices for payment promptly and accurately in accordance with company policies.
• Analyze and resolve invoice and statement discrepancies with vendors while maintaining positive vendor relationships through responsiveness to inquiries.
• Assist in maintaining all accounts payable records by indexing and archiving documents.
• Coordinate with other departments and outside agencies to resolve issues efficiently.
• Support customer service activities such as order intake and resolving issues with B2B customers.
• Assist accounting personnel with month-end close processes, including account reconciliations, expense accrual support, and variance analysis research.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
• Prior experience with SAP, QuickBooks, or similar accounting/ERP software preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of accounts payable experience preferred.
• Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours.
