\nRN - Med Surg Tele
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend schedule required
\n• RN to patient ratio of 5:1
\n• Must pass/fail exam on Friday during orientation with 90% passing score required
\n• Open book exam on skills learned with all necessary resources provided
\n• Float assignments to 6E, acute rehab unit, and geriatric psych unit
\n• Care for adult patients with small amount of pediatrics (1-5 pediatric patients per year)
\n• Common patient diagnoses include post-surgical, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, and cancer
\n• Work with diverse population including African American culture and Korean speaking patients
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Epic electronic medical record system
\n• Alaris IV pumps
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Driver's license required at submittal
\n• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
\n• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
\n• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
