Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with options of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement: Friday and Saturday for night shifts, Saturday and Sunday for day shifts
\n• Holiday rotation required to distribute holidays fairly
\n• Multi Care Unit with variable patient ratios based on acuity: ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MST 1:5-6
\n• If no nursing assistant available, ratio becomes 1:3 for primary care
\n• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required, or 1 year ICU plus 1 year PCU/Med-Surg from larger facilities
\n• Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts prior to contract signing
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
\n• Titrate drips including sedation, vasopressors, and insulin
\n• Take 12-lead EKGs and monitor bedside cardiac monitors for ICU patients
\n• Float to Emergency Department, MST, Pediatric unit, and West Campus in Prescott with two-hour notice
\n• Care for patients with sepsis, suicide attempts, drug/alcohol withdrawal, COPD, respiratory arrest, pneumonia, DKA
\n• Standby rotation required during low census periods
\n• Any scrub color permitted except camouflage
\n• Use Cerner charting system
\n• BSN not required
\n• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract or 3 shifts if contract under 13 weeks

This healthcare facility features a 10-bed Multi Care Unit that provides care across three different acuity levels within one unit, eliminating the need to float between separate units. The facility offers comprehensive support services including respiratory therapy with ventilators, BiPap, and CPAP equipment, remote monitor technicians for PCU and MST patients, and nursing assistants who manage 10-15 patients each. The organization operates multiple campuses and maintains high standards for critical care with modern equipment and specialized monitoring capabilities.
