Position Overview: As a Videographer within our in-house Studio division, you will live, breath, speak and make content. You\'ll translate creative briefs and brand identities into compelling visual content- video and dynamic (i.e. GIFs, motion, etc.)- which resonates with the audiences of leading global brands, across social media platforms. In this role, within the dynamic social media landscape, you will strategically “collapse” more traditional creative models- enlisting a dynamic ability to ideate, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality- maximizing efficiency and high-volume output, while collaborating effectively with a broader team of creatives and producers. *All applicants should provide a portfolio showcasing your skills in art direction, copywriting, and concept development for social media. Responsibilities: Content Creation & Execution: Translate creative briefs and brand identities into engaging social media content across various platforms Produce a range of visual styles with video and dynamic content- from lo-fi and social-native aesthetics to high-production value- tailored to specific social media platform requirements and campaign objectives Manage content production from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget alignment Plan social media content- including art direction, storyboarding and overall visual architecture- enlisting impactful storytelling and delivery to ensure it resonates with target audiences and achieves campaign goals Collaborate with creative directors, producers, copywriters, and other team members to achieve exceptional results Stay immersed in culture and social media trends and zeitgeists, in order to produce aligned proactive and reactive content Content Filming and Editing Demonstrate a strong understanding of content capture equipment, from iPhones to professional cameras, and utilize diverse techniques to create visually engaging content Demonstrate proficiency for editing video and dynamic content using relevant software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software) Demonstrate a proficiency of implementing motion graphic principles into post-production utilizing relevant software and tools (i.e. After Effects) Demonstrate a proficiency in editing content natively to major social platform apps (i.e. TikTok Editor, Instagram Edits App, CapCut, etc.) Innovation and AI Integration Stay abreast of emerging trends across social media and content creation Adopt an evolving portfolio of innovative AI-powered tools and techniques to enhance the creative process and generate dynamic content that pushes boundaries Ensure all content complies with copyright laws and brand guidelines Obtain necessary permissions for use of copyrighted material Position Requirements: 3+ years of experience in content creation- with proven experience in social media- with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in asset production (video and photo), graphic design, and copywriting Deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices for content creation and audience engagement Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software). Proficiency in filming techniques utilizing agile equipment (iPhones) as well as cameras A passion for social media and a desire to create impactful content that drives results Willingness to travel- at times with short notice- for the purpose of content creation Viral Nation is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in our agency.
