Summary:
Spectra Corporate Transportation Division is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL-Class C Driver to join our team. This position is local and involves operating a Box Truck (26') to transport coils and finished goods between our facility, branches, and regional suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a box truck in a safe and efficient manner by conducting routine vehicle inspections to ensure the safe operation of their assigned vehicle.
• Transport materials to and from manufacturing, storage, and distribution locations. Verify the quantities of goods received and dispatched.
• Coordinate with transportation, warehouse, and branch staff to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and operational protocols.
. The successful candidate will also manage the warehouse and keep track of inventories. This involves organizing and storing products, as well as quality control and regular auditing.
Requirements
• Valid Class - C Commercial Driver's License (CDL-C).
• Airbrake endorsement
• Clean driving record with no recent violations.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred (local or regional).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform occasional physical labor.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and local delivery logistics.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
