Welder/Multi-Skilled Position

Position Overview:

As a Welder within this company, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of industrial equipment to produce and assemble products that meet strict customer specifications. This role is 'multi-skilled,' meaning you may rotate between specialized welding tasks and other positions throughout the production floor.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 6am-2pm

Wage : $19 an hour

Responsibilities, but not limited to

• Processes: Perform MIG welding & helping on the production floor as needed
• Preparation: Clean, lay out, cut, and fit materials; preheat and assemble metals prior to welding.
• Fabrication: Clamp, tack-weld, heat-bend, and grind component parts to achieve required configurations.
• Jigs & Fixtures: Fabricate and assemble the jigs used for production.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret drawings, traveler requirements, and manufacturing instructions.
• Quality Control: Inspect workpieces for defects and use precision measuring devices (straightedges, templates) to ensure accuracy.
• Secondary Operations: Perform finishing tasks like sanding, cutting, or removing flashing from completed parts.

Qualifications:

• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in utilizing measuring tools with precision.
• Ability to safely operate machinery.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Welding experience preferred but not necessary, willing to train
• Manufacturing experience required if no welding experience
