Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ASE Certified Race Car Mechanic to join our racing team. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing race vehicles to ensure peak performance, safety, and reliability during practice, qualifying, and race events.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on race cars
• Prepare vehicles for race events, including setup, tuning, and safety checks
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, suspension, braking, and drivetrain systems
• Assist with engine maintenance, rebuilds, and performance upgrades
• Monitor vehicle performance during practice and races; make real-time adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Ensure compliance with racing regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop and at the track
• Load, transport, and unload vehicles and equipment for race events as required

Qualifications

• ASE Certification
• Proven experience working on race cars or high-performance vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Experience with suspension setup, alignment, and chassis tuning preferred
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, competitive environments
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and travel for race events
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in shop/track conditions

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data acquisition systems and performance analysis
• Welding or fabrication skills
• Engine tuning and ECU experience
• Familiarity with [specific racing series, if applicable]
