The Coffee Shop Supervisor will monitor the coffee shop, ensuring the environment is clean and organized; deliver phenomenal customer service; and train teams on standards.

Requested Tasks

• Demonstrate and uphold all expectations for service standards that are to be followed by all team members
• Demonstrate and uphold company time and attendance policies
• Demonstrate and uphold all appearance standards for your experience, including appropriate uniforms items are worn and are clean and wrinkle-free, and that proper hygiene and grooming standards are met during each shift, for all team members
• Greet guests and assist with their orders as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized and stocked environment
• Ensure staffing levels are met and schedules are properly created
• Follow all drink recipes and procedures, maintaining the highest quality and consistent standards
• Ensure that drink menus remain accurate to current offerings
• Oversee inventory management
• Through regular audits, ensure that all ingredients meet quality and freshness standards
• Support and assist with execution of all New Hire training initiatives consisting of service standards, product knowledge, etc.
• Provides coaching and training to baristas and lead baristas
• Adhere to all safety and cleanliness standards
• Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles
• Additional duties and assignments as assigned

Requested Capabilities

• Prior experience as a supervisor or lead barista highly preferred
• Prior experience working in a similar coffee shop environment preferred
• Professional, friendly and courteous nature
• Able to handle multiple guests requests effectively and efficiently
• Thorough understanding of how to make coffee, tea, etc. beverages
• Required to stand; walk; use hands to serve and clear food, beverages, plates/cutlery/glassware, additional objects
• Able to bend and kneel to clear tables, serve food, etc.
• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Adhere to Makeready & property policies and procedures as defined
