Entry Level Management Trainee

Location: Louisville, KY

About Us:

At WCO Academy, we’re passionate about shaping the next generation of leaders in sales and business. Through our mission to elevate people’s potential, we’re able to positively impact both the professional and charitable sectors. We work with numerous charities to help raise awareness for causes while supporting our brand’s success in sales.

Role Overview:

The Management Trainee program at WCO Academy is designed to provide recent graduates with a comprehensive understanding of business operations and management. You will learn the core elements of leading a team, executing successful campaigns, and contributing to charity-driven initiatives. Throughout this program, you will be exposed to all facets of management, from sales to community-focused events, helping to elevate brand visibility while promoting social good.

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an Entry Level Management Trainee, your daily responsibilities will involve a combination of learning opportunities, leadership development, and operational support. Your duties will include:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Work closely with senior leaders to learn how to manage and motivate a team effectively. You will help train and mentor new team members, ensuring they understand sales goals, charity initiatives, and company expectations. Over time, you'll gain the skills necessary to lead teams, provide feedback, and drive results.
  • Campaign Execution & Project Management: Assist in planning and executing brand awareness campaigns that promote our charitable partnerships. This includes helping to organize events, track their success, and ensure all logistics are handled efficiently. You’ll also contribute to the strategy and messaging to make sure both sales and social impact goals are met.
  • Customer & Community Engagement: Play an active role in customer interactions by representing the brand in both sales and charity-focused events. You will help ensure customers understand how their purchases are contributing to social causes, building strong relationships between the brand, customers, and charitable organizations.
  • Sales Oversight & Performance Monitoring: Track and report on team and individual sales performance. You will collaborate with senior managers to analyze sales data, make strategic adjustments, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Brand Awareness & Sales Support: Assist in driving brand visibility through the execution of targeted initiatives and campaigns that support both business goals and community outreach efforts. This includes supporting the creation of promotional materials, overseeing event setups, and participating in ongoing communication efforts to increase brand presence.
  • Strategic Planning & Feedback Contribution: Work alongside senior management to help refine long-term business strategies, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with the company’s mission of making a meaningful social impact while driving sales. You’ll actively participate in strategy sessions, providing insights and feedback based on real-time results from campaigns and sales data.

What We Offer:

  • Structured development program focused on management skills and charitable initiatives
  • Opportunities for rapid career growth and leadership training
  • Competitive pay, with performance-based bonuses
  • Mentorship and coaching from experienced leaders
  • Exposure to leadership roles and opportunities to work on high-impact projects that contribute to both business and community goals

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Motivated by both personal growth and social impact
