Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking skilled Equipment Operators to join our pipe crews, responsible for operating heavy machinery to support civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for construction tasks.
• Dig trenches using excavators for pipe installation.
• Perform rough and fine grading using loaders, excavators, and dozers.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in heavy equipment operation.
• Experience in excavation and grading.
• Familiarity with civil site construction.
• Ability to operate bulldozers, excavators, and dozers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy Caterpillar equipment.
• Experience with pipe installation and storm water lines.
• Rough grading experience.
• Commercial construction experience.

Work Environment

Join a dynamic work environment where you will be engaged in projects around Richmond, VA, including Chesterfield, VA. Expect to work 40-60 hour weeks from Monday to Friday, 7am to 5 or 6pm, depending on weather conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toano, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
