Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of products and materials within our facility. Responsibilities
Assist in the unloading and loading of kegs, both new and used, upon truck arrivals.
Utilize stand-up forklifts to move and manage inventory efficiently.
Operate RF Scanner with proficiency and maintain knowledge of WMS/SAP systems.
Receive bin numbers and accurately locate beer pallets in the refrigerated area.
Identify solutions to correctly locate and transfer materials in the stockroom.
Load and unload shipping trucks and prepare packages for shipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse during downtime.
Essential Skills
Experience with stand-up forklifts.
Proficiency in using RF Scanners.
Knowledge of WMS/SAP systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills to manage inventory efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old to work onsite.
Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience.
Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
Forklift experience is preferred, with on-site certification available.
Ability to lift cases up to 35 lbs and maneuver kegs up to 170 lbs.
Basic computer skills.

Work Environment
The work environment is climate-controlled, with occasional requirements to access refrigerated areas for product retrieval. Employees will work on the 3rd shift from 11:30 PM to 7 AM, Sunday to Thursday. The work location is in Richmond, VA.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
