Our company, School Secure, is actively recruiting the best armed and unarmed security professionals on the Front Range. We are hiring Security Heroes. We are hiring for multiple positions. All positions will be long-term contract positions throughout the Denver metro area. Compensation will be the highest in the market, commensurate with your experience. Our roles will be challenging in that they will demand a holistic approach to providing security services, but they will also be the most rewarding. Primary Responsibilities Integrate with the school community, forging authentic relationships with the clients Maintain professional and friendly rapport with stakeholders of all ages Create daily reports that provide a full assessment on incidents throughout the day Patrol our clients’ premises and surrounding neighborhoods on foot, observing unusual behavior and illegal activity Monitor and secure clients' premises Resolve conflicts peaceably through advanced de‑escalation techniques Assess security situations quickly and exercise professional judgment in bringing about their resolution Monitor security CCTV, alarms and systems Respond to routine inquiries Provide value‑add input to improving the clients’ security apparatus, including assisting with drills Provide first‑aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the well‑being of our clients Participate in industry‑leading training programs throughout the year Collaborate with local police agencies as needed Take on additional responsibilities as needed Security Hero Requirements A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in law enforcement or military service is required High School graduate or GED desired; college degree preferred Required onboarding and ongoing assessments and certifications include: drug testing, a background check, additional psychological, mental and behavioural testing Required certifications in First Aid and concealed carry; valid P.O.S.T. certification preferred Top 1% interpersonal and leadership abilities Good communication skills (both written and verbal) Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Other, Information Technology, and Management Industries Security and Investigations Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at School Secure by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr School Secure
