Job Description
**CTG is seeking to fill a Java Backend Developer position for our client in Phoenix, AZ.**
**Duration:** 12 months
**Duties:**
+ Develop and maintain backend APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Vert.x.
+ Build microservices and integrations with Apache Camel, Kafka, and REST APIs.
+ Work with databases (Couchbase, Oracle, Redis, NoSQL) and design DB architectures.
+ Support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
+ Monitor and optimize applications with Dynatrace.
+ Collaborate on performance testing and QA using JMeter, JUnit, and Postman.
+ Maintain and enhance systems including GNST, MT, NRD, NTR, and related systems.
**Skills & Experience:**
+ 4+ years of Java backend API development.
+ Strong Vert.x experience.
+ Experience with GNST and 1+ year with MT, NRD, NTR, or similar systems.
+ Proficient with Spring, Spring Boot, GraphQL, CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Hadoop/HDFS, API development, and monitoring tools.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
