This is a 13-week contract position for a Certified Orthopedic Technician in an outpatient facility. The technician will be responsible for assisting orthopedic surgeons and other medical staff in the care of patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
Location:Tarzana, California, United States
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
- Apply and remove casts, splints, and braces.
- Educate patients on proper cast care and bracing techniques.
- Maintain inventory of orthopedic supplies and equipment.
- Document patient care and procedures accurately.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- NBCOT certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience required.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- EPIC charting experience
Special Considerations:
- Open to true travelers.
Scheduling:
- Start date: ASAP
- No weekend or on-call requirements.
- Traveler will not float between units.
