Pharmacy Technician – Conversio Health Join to apply for the Pharmacy Technician role at Conversio Health. This position is located in our San Luis Obispo-based pharmacy and offers flexible schedules with no nights or weekends. Overview Conversio Health is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to compound, order, stock, package, and process medications. No prior compounding experience required. Pharmacists oversee your work. You must hold a current CA Pharmacy Technician license. We provide comprehensive training, reimburse license renewals, offer competitive rates, and provide a full benefits package. Responsibilities Preparation and compounding of sterile products Maintaining the pharmacy clean room to USP 797 and USP 800 requirements Performs area clearance, verifies batch supplies, and enters data in the computer system Documentation of IV admixture and clean room sterility testing Properly use all equipment in the lab to make the compound Assemble, inspect, and verify compounding components Calibration and proper documentation of scales, electronic meters, etc. Follow all safety and USP guidelines for preparation of compounding I.V. solutions Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the Pharmacist in Charge Complete appropriate documentation such as labels, log sheets, and reports in a timely manner Assist with inventory management and storage Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Must hold a valid and current CA Pharmacy Technician license Ability to stand for long periods of time while working under a vertical or horizontal hood Must be capable of wearing all protective wear as required by the facility SOPs (mask, gloves, gown, hairnet, safety goggles, etc.) Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs National certification (PTCB) preferred, but not required Reliable commute or planning to relocate to San Luis Obispo before starting work (Required) Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid sick time Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday No nights No weekends Compensation Compensation is based on experience and licenses/certifications held.
