Dental Assisting Instructor

Location: Lehi, UT

Status: Part-time

Hours: This is a substitute position. Locations could be Lehi, Provo, Payson. Class times 7:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m., 11:30a.m.-2:30 p.m., 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Pay: $24.09 /Hour

Summary: As a Dental Assisting Substitute Instructor, you will prepare students for careers in dental assisting, equipping them with the essential skills to succeed in the workforce. Enjoy the rewards of helping a new generation of Dental Assisting students launch successful careers!

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver interactive and engaging lessons with a strong focus on hands-on, skill-based competency training.
  • Follow lesson plans for both classroom and lab activities.
  • Manage and supervise students during classroom instruction and practical training.
  • Foster a student-centered learning environment while maintaining a positive and effective classroom atmosphere.

What We're Looking For:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program with a valid certificate of completion.
  • At least five years of professional experience in the dental assisting field.
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred.
  • DANB National Certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).
