Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital with night shifts and COVID-19 vaccination required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a Level 1 Trauma, teaching hospital
• Patient population includes laboring mothers and neonates
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:30 to 08:00
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call requirement
• Floating within scope to other units as needed
• Uses Centricity, Sorian, EDM, Lawson, and Kronos charting systems
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Orientation on first day with manager interview possible
• Hospital is accessible via multiple public transportation options
• Parking available at daily, weekly, or monthly rates
• Maximum of one time off request during contract
• Hospital-provided scrubs required as dress code
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Active DC RN license required for consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Locals accepted for this position
• No pending licenses accepted
