This position is not remote. Responsibilities Help deliver exceptional planning solutions to our clients. Actively contribute to our team's work on diverse project assignments. Assist team members in preparing for and facilitating public meetings. Deliver graphically communicative work. Build relationships with current and future clients. Attend project meetings as needed, including public hearings, stakeholder meetings and community engagement events, and assist with meeting facilitation. Manage virtual engagement tools to reach broader audiences. Create clear, concise, and well-organized technical documents summarizing a variety of planning topics. Analyze spatial and statistical data, create maps, and support data-driven planning decisions. Create graphic materials for public engagement tools, including boards, flyers, posters, and digital platforms. Organize and maintain project documentation. Qualifications Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Urban and Regional Planning, and a second degree or area of study in a related field (e.g., landscape architecture, engineering, geography, economics, or public administration). 3+ years of directly related experience. American Institute of Certified Planner (AICP) Certification preferred. Proficiency in graphic software programs (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator). Working knowledge of GIS/ArcView. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, as well as advanced mapping or zoning experience; work samples may be requested. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines. Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
