Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for operating a slitter machine to process steel coils of aluminum, which are essential in the production of gutters. You will set up and adjust the machine with the correct product dimensions, load aluminum coils, inspect for defects, and transport processed aluminum to the next step in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Operate the slitter machine used in aluminum coil processing.
• Set up and adjust machines with the correct product dimensions.
• Load aluminum coils onto the machine.
• Inspect processed materials for defects.
• Move processed aluminum to designated inventory locations.
• Stand for most of the shift.
• Operate a sit-down forklift when required.

• Experience in machine operation and machine operating.
• Ability to use a tape measure.
• Basic math skills.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in production, general labor, and general production.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Inspection skills.

• Experience with metal processing, slitter machines, and roll forming machines is a plus.
• Machine troubleshooting and maintenance experience is a plus.

This position offers cross-training opportunities to grow your skills and abilities, keeping you mentally stimulated. There is potential for advancement, and you will benefit from working on a 2nd shift differential.

Work Environment

You will work in an open bay manufacturing warehouse that is clean and organized, though not climate-controlled, with temperatures ranging from 80-100 degrees Fahrenheit. The dress code requires pants, closed-toe shoes, and eye protection. You will be part of a team-based culture, collaborating with 5-10 other individuals, with a no cellphone policy on the floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
