Role Overview

As a Wordpress developer at Interview Kickstart, you will play a critical role in building and scaling our web platform.

• Design, implement, and manage WordPress websites and web applications.
• Develop new features, functionalities, and improvements for our WordPress sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering) to ensure seamless integration with other platforms and tools.
• Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and widgets to meet project requirements.
• Manage project timelines and tasks efficiently, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability.
• Conduct regular testing and debugging to maintain site functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and web technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to ensure continuous website uptime.
• Maintain documentation for projects and updates.

Basic Qualifications

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio.
• Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with theme and plugin development, customization, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage tasks and projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
• Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively with various teams.
• Familiarity with website optimization and SEO best practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of site migration and WordPress security best practices.
